RATES

  • Rates are in US$ and are per person per night including VAT. Rates are subject to change without prior notice for future bookings.
  • Few and Far Luvhondo offers and agrees on a NETT G.P rate. This rate shall remain confidential between Few and Far Luvhondo and “the Client” and may not be transferred nor ceded, by “the Client”. This applies to given rates as indicated and is guaranteed throughout the validity of this agreement. Should additional rates be issued by Few and Far Luvhondo, at any time, a separate rate for ‘the Client’ will be issued.
  • All rates must be respected by third parties in order to maintain the integrity of the Few and Far Luvhondo brand.
  • Failure to sell at the recommended rate may result in revoking of any rate and this agreement will be considered null and void.
  • Rates exclude community and conservation fees of US$ 100 per adult per night and US$ 50per child per night. (reduced conservation levies available for SADC guests as per rate sheets)
  • Further inclusions and exclusions are as per rate sheet.
  • Minimum two-night stay is required.

Property Details

Room Occupancy:

  • Max 2 adults sharing per suite.
  • Max 2 children (up to the age of 17 years) sharing one suite with 2 adults.
  • Max 3 children (12 -17 years) sharing one suite.
  • Six suites are available at Few and Far Luvhondo.
  • Check-in time: Guests are required to check-in after 2.00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: All guests are required to check-out before 10.00 a.m.
  • Packed picnic lunches can be arranged for arrival or departure (additional charges might apply).
  • Late check-out is available upon request. If there are no rooms free, the guests can use the lodge.
  • Early check-in can be requested.
  • Pets are not allowed.

Reservations Terms & Conditions

Reservations

  • All applications for provisional or confirmed reservations are to be made by the Client to:

  • No reservation is deemed confirmed unless acknowledged and accepted in writing by the Reservation Manager to the Client.
  • The Client will provide Reservations with the following information in order to process any reservations: First and last names of the client(s).
  • Birth dates of client(s).
  • Preferred arrival and departure dates.
  • Time of arrival.
  • Arrival and departure points together with airline, charter and/ or transfer details. Nationality of client
  • Confirmation of clients’ travel insurance
  • Passport copies required to process permits. Dietary requirements.
  • Any medical illness Few and Far Luvhondo needs to know about.
  • Special occasions/celebrations if applicable.

Booking terms

  • Minimum stay of 2 nights
  • Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days. However, we offer a certain amount of flexibility to extend provisional bookings, where requested in writing and where possible.
  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a reservation. No reservation is deemed confirmed until the 30% deposit is received, acknowledged, and accepted in writing by the Reservation Manager.
  • Reservations will be confirmed in writing (email).
  • The 70% balance of the payment is due at least 60 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to pay the balance within this period will result in a 3% late penalty of the booking total compounded every week the payment is outstanding.
  • If a reservation is made 60 days prior to the arrival date, full payment is due.
  • The amount stated on the invoice needs to be received by Few and Far Luvhondo in full. ALL bank charges are to be settled and recovered by the client.
  • Payments must be made in USD ($), extras can be paid for at the property by Visa or MasterCard.
  • We reserve the right to review our rates and change them at any given time, at the discretion of management. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions with sufficient prior notice.

Conservation Levy
Non-refundable, however transferable in case of postponement.
  • Should a refund be requested 60 days or more prior to arrival, this will be processed net of bank fees.
  • Cancellations must be received in writing and will only be valid when receipt is acknowledged in writing.
  • Bookings can be postponed free of charge subject to the following:
    o Postponement request received no later than 14 days of travelo Subject to availability
    o Rate adjustment according to season or year will apply
  • In the event of Force Majeure, postponements will be arranged free of charge.
  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions with sufficient notice.

No Refunds Are Given

  • For lost travel time due to delays
  • For circumstances arising beyond the Company's control necessitating alternative arrangement to be made to ensure the safety of the guests.
  • All bookings, late arrivals, no-shows and early departures will be charged in full.

Payment

  • Payments must be done in USD.
  • Payments for extras can be made at the property by Visa or MasterCard.
  • All payments should be made by electronic transfer (TT) into our bank account. Thereafter the balance of the confirmation will be payable as follows:
  • A 30% deposit of the balance has to be paid 14 days after the confirmation of the booking.
  • The 70% balance is due no later than 45 days before arrival. Failure to pay the balance within this period will result in a 3% late penalty of the booking total compounded every week the payment is outstanding.
  • NOTE: Failure to make payment within the above stipulated times may result in automatic cancellation by Few and Far Luvhondo of any reservations made by the Client.
  • All bookings, late arrivals, no-shows and early departures will be charged in full.

General Terms &  Conditions

  • All provisions of this contract shall remain strictly confidential between Few and Far Luvhondo and the Client. Variation and wavering of the Terms and Conditions is at the sole discretion of Few and Far Luvhondo:
  • The obligations in this agreement shall be rendered invalid in all circumstances of force majeure such as civil unrest, war and war like conditions, strikes, natural catastrophes, epidemics, acts of terrorism and government ordered measures of closure or restraint that jeopardizes the ability of either party to perform its duties. Under those conditions Few and Far Luvhondo will hold no director indirect liability to the Client or guest for failure to operate.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify Few and Far Luvhondo its owners, employees and directors against any claim, payment of damages, fines or legal costs arising directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of contract or negligence of the Client or its employees, Clients or sub-contractors.
  • Few and Far Luvhondo reserves the right to ask for clients’ credit card details as a guarantee against extras incurred whilst staying at their lodges.
  • Few and Far Luvhondo reserves the right to carry out repairs, renovations or upgrades, and maintenance programs as it deems fit, in order to keep their lodges at its absolute discretion; prior notice of commencement of any major renovation work on a prolonged basis that may affect guests’ comfort, will be given to the Client.
  • Client brochure copy and layout must be approved prior to printing. Few and Far Luvhondo will not be responsible for mistakes if approval is not sought.
  • DISPUTES
  • If you have any cause for complaint while your guests are travelling, you must immediately bring it to the attention of the Company's local representative or agent who will attempt to resolve the situation. Any outstanding dispute will be settled in the Courts of the United Republic of South Africa which shall have exclusive jurisdiction thereof.

Consent

  • The payment of the deposit or another partial payment for the reservation constitutes consent to all provisions of the conditions and general information contained in the terms and conditions. The terms on which you agree to make the reservations cannot be changed unless amended in writing and signed by an authorised officer of the Company.

Jurisdiction

  • These terms and conditions, under the jurisdiction of the Law of the Republic of South Africa, govern the relationship between the Company and Client, to the total exclusion of any other terms and conditions. No alternations to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the Company's employees, authorised representatives or third parties, unless in writing by an authorised officer of the Company. Acceptance

  • In order to validate this agreement, please indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions by signing and returning the Client’s copy. It is understood that the undersigned is empowered by the Client to sign this contract. The terms and conditions of this agreement shall not bevaried or modified except by mutual agreement in writing.

Booking Requirements

Deposit

A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Please note that only once the deposit is received can the confirmation process of lodging and touring begin. This could mean that changes to the proposed itinerary may be considered should there be changes in availability from proposal to deposit received. You will be notified of any availability changes or modifications necessary.

Second Payment

The remaining 70% of the trip’s balance is due 120 days prior to the trip's start date. For trips booked within 120 days of the start date, the entire balance is due at confirmation.

Remaining Balance

Any remaining outstanding balance is due 30 days prior to the trip's start date. Please note that some payments may be due during the trip (Example: The bill for a pre-reserved dinner).

Payment Methods

Payments for trips may be made with debit or credit cards, bank transfers (ACH), or wire transfers.

Cancellation Policy

Since each trip is tailored to each traveler, the cancellation policies can vary. Dawn Tree Collection works hard to negotiate the best terms with our partners and oftentimes each operator has a different set of terms.

Dawn Tree Collection’s general cancellation policy is as follows: Trip deposits are non-refundable. Dawn Tree Collection will work closely with lodging and touring operators to recover any funds paid outside of the deposit, but no refunds are guaranteed. Cancellation fees may apply when canceled within 120 days of the trip’s start date or within the non-refundable windows established by lodging and tour operators.

Travel Insurance (travel insurance and traveler medical insurance) is required to book a trip in order to protect your investment and travelers throughout the trip. Dawn Tree Collection is licensed to sell Travelex Policies and can create a custom policy for you upon booking.

Postponement,Reschedule, Alterations Policy

Dawn Tree Collection kindly requests 60 days advance notice for any alterations (Postpone, reschedule, group size changes, etc). Any alteration requests open all itinerary items are newly subject to availability and possible price changes.

Force Majeure

Should events beyond the reasonable control of Dawn Tree or any partners, including but not limited to (1) acts of God, (2) war, including armed conflict, (3) strikes or labor disputes (4) disease (5) government regulation or advisory (including travel advisory warnings), (6) civil disturbance (7) terrorism or threats of terrorism (8) disaster, fire, earthquakes, hurricanes (9) unseasonable extreme inclement weather (10) or (11) any other cause reasonably beyond the parties' control, making the trip commercially impracticable, impracticable to perform, illegal, or impossible to fully perform. In such cases the affected parties may terminate this trip upon written notification, for a full refund. No additional compensation will be provided for other incurred costs.

Conservation Levy

Conservation levies will be added to the subtotal of the trip to support the continued conservation of any locations included in the trip.

Carbon Offset

In line with the Dawn Tree vision and ethos, a carbon offsetting fee will be added to the subtotal of each trip.
