Unique cliff suites
Perched on the edge of the Soutpansberg cliffs, our six suites are set above the forest canopy. They are designed to seamlessly merge with the surrounding landscape, allowing discreet game-watching from your expansive private deck.

Sustainably sourced, elegantly designed
Every structure is in harmony with the mountain. We built them using reclaimed eucalyptus and natural stone sourced directly from the earth, rooting your experience in the Vhembe Biosphere Reserve.
Wind passes underneath the stilted floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows dissolve the boundary between your bed and the wild.
Wake to the call of a trumpeter hornbill and watch the morning mist lift from the gorge. Wildlife moves freely beneath your room; you might trace the path of a nyala through the undergrowth before you even pour your coffee. Retreat to your personal plunge pool as the sun climbs, tracking a family of giraffes navigating the plains below.
The suites are thoughtfully curated and so comfortable that I was torn between soaking up the sun on my private deck with plunge pool or exploring the reserve!
One with nature
Start your morning to the sound of birdsong in the bush. Retreat to your private plunge pool to watch giraffes graze in the valley below. Wash off the day’s red dust in an open-air rain shower or a deep bath overlooking the plains.
Each suite features a king-size bed, air conditioning and an inclusive mini-bar. For families, we can easily add up to three additional roll-away beds.
