Not your typical game drive
Beyond a traditional game drive
At Few & Far Luvhondo, a game drive ignores the clock. Your route is dictated by fresh leopard tracks pressed into the red dust or the sudden alarm call of a baboon troop. You cross the ancient Soutpansberg mountains, navigating a dramatic transition from arid savannah to dense subtropical forest.
Guided by expert trackers, you explore 30000ha of raw wilderness in an open-air vehicle. But the experience does not keep you confined to a seat. Step out of the 4x4 to crouch over bent grass, deciphering the overnight movements of the bush. Watch a sable antelope pause in the dappled light of the tree canopy, or observe a journey of giraffes, kudu and zebra moving through the golden plains.
The apex predators on our reserve are leopards and we aren't home to lions or elephants. This makes exploration on foot a safe and remarkable experience.
Sweep the quiet underbrush for the dart of a predator, search the branches for rare Samango monkeys or study the intricate path of a dung beetle.

Adventure awaits
Your time in the bush also intersects with real conservation work. Check Panthera camera traps hidden among thousand-year-old baobabs, walk the snare lines with our anti-poaching unit and understand the physical mechanics of restoring a fractured ecosystem.
Return to your cliff suite with dirt on your boots, the scent of crushed wild sage on your clothes and a profound connection to the unfiltered wild.
