We know conservation efforts that exclude the community will fail. The protection of the Soutpansberg mountains is best achieved by the people who have called them home for centuries. A key mission of Few & Far Luvhondo is to help ensure our local communities and cultures thrive.
We have created more than 50 sustainable local jobs, and have recruited and trained many of our expert guides, trackers and hospitality team directly from the surrounding communities.
We actively source materials, ingredients and decor from local artisans and farmers, ensuring that travel revenue circulates within the region.
A vibrant, living culture
We also protect a vibrant, living culture. We collaborate directly with respected Venda elders to integrate authentic traditions into the guest experience. These partnerships ensure that ancient storytelling and drumming techniques, and botanical knowledge, are passed down to the next generation.
